Elton Junior's first album: A year in the life of the musician's very pampered son

Even for a man as extravagant as Elton John, last year’s Christmas gift topped them all. Exactly one year ago saw the birth (thanks to a surrogate mother) of his son Zachary.
Back then, Elton and his partner David Furnish told the world ‘we are overwhelmed with happiness and joy’ and the feeling clearly hasn’t dimmed, as Zachary has followed his besotted parents on a veritable world tour.
Here, David Thomas imagines his diary of a very eventful year...
