Elton John song for Guy Burchett

In 1979, I found several magazines featuring Elton John in a bookstore that sold old issues. I picked one up, and underneath it was another — and below that, several more. I thought, Oh, what a find, what luck! One of them had a photo of Guy Burchett and his mother. I kept that magazine for decades. I eventually lost the magazines, but I still had a photocopy of that page among other copies.

Only in 2002, with a computer and internet access, was I able to scan the image — though in low resolution. That scan then became the only known photo of Guy Burchett available online, and it was later reproduced in videos and on various websites.

Recently, with the help of Artificial Intelligence, I managed to restore the image. Today, again with AI, I decided to bring the two together — Guy and Elton — by creating an image of Elton from 1977, the time Guy Burchett worked at Rocket. Here’s the result.
