SIR ELTON JOHN has stepped up his attack on Oasis, labelling the biggest British band of the 90s "stupid sods" for not making it in the USA.
"They went over there and argued between themselves and cancelled the tour and they never broke America," John told Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell.
"You only get [the chance] once, and if you blow it, it's gone. You can't not regret that.
"I always thought, 'You stupid sods. You'll never get that opportunity again'."
The Rocket Man was in explosive form in the interview, arguing that Oasis were "boys" compared to "men" like, um, Coldplay, Muse and U2.
"It's only the cream that rises to the top," he said.
"It's the boys from the men. Coldplay, Muse, U2, all those bands. They're the men, and all the rest are boys."
Last week, John launched a potty-mouthed attack on Oasis in response to Noel Gallagher laughing that the Bitch is Back singer was too much of a diva to buy his own milk at the shops.
"He's just such a tosser," said John.
"I go into fucking shops all the time myself. He's an absolute tosser and he looks like Parker from Thunderbirds."

Speaking to Absolute Radio's Christian O'Connell, Sir Elton blasted Cowell for neglecting to nurture and look after the careers of the acts once the show is over.
"Everyone makes all the money off the 'X Factor' and sells the records but it's the cart before the horse," he fumed.
He continued: "What's the psychological damage going to be when they've humped and dumped them and the next one comes along? They're a bit like products, to be honest with you.
"They're products and the record comes out at Christmas, and it's always No. 1, and then what happens next year? Why aren't they touring? Who's managing these people?"
Come come, Sir Elton -- some of these acts are reaching the peak of their powers. Same Difference have set the world of light entertainment alight with regulars appearances at Butlins holiday camps, 2009 contestant Rachel Adedeji is a regular at Butlins while Stacey Solomon is really living the dream as a contestant on 'I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here' now that she's taken a break form appearances at, er... Butlins.
