Sir Elton John’s helicopter reportedly landed at the wrong nuptials when he was attending Lily Allen’s wedding.
Lily’s ceremony was taking place in a Cotswolds church just a few miles away and the couple managed to arrive just in time. Around 100 guests saw Lily walk down the aisle, while another 200 helped to celebrate the marriage later that day with fireworks, a phone booth filled with beer and a live band.
Elton’s representative has dismissed the reports, saying "From what I can find out, this story isn't true."

Elton John took the Istanbul stage Tuesday night with a memorable concert after 18 years.
Legendary British singer Sir Elton John returned to Istanbul for the first time in 18 years to stage a memorable concert Tuesday night at Maçka Küçükçiftlik Park in Beşiktaş.
“It is a pleasure to be here after 18 years. I have many good friends here in the crowd,” John told the audience of about 4,000, blowing kisses to the spectators after each song.
Starting with “Funeral for a friend” from his “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road,” John sang a total of 22 songs during the two-hour concert.
While John largely stuck to some of his older work, he also performed three new songs from his latest album. The climax of the evening was his rendering of the song, “Sacrifice.” Another popular John number, “Rocket Man,” also excited the audience.
The performance Tuesday was organized by Map Communication and sponsored by ERGO Insurance.
John and his band were scheduled to perform Wednesday night in Ankara.

Manufacturer's SVC110 instruments selected for musician’s current 2011 tour
Elton John has gone on tour once again with his full live band, but with the support of additional musicians equipped with Yamaha silent cellos.Alongside John’s usual five-piece backing band – made up of drummer Nigel Olsson, percussionist John Mahon, bassist Bob Birch, guitarist Davey Johnstone and keyboard player Kim Bullard – is a pair of new cellists.
Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser have both chosen Yamaha SVC110 silent cellos to help expand the band’s sound.
"Incorporating the Yamaha cellos into the mix has added a new dimension to what is a great rock ‘n’ roll band. Before we’ve done string parts from keyboards, so live strings bring something extra and has made me go back to basics with how I mix the show," said Matt Herr, Elton John’s front of house engineer.
John’s 2011 touring schedule is set to cover the UK, Europe, Asia, Canada, the US, Russia, Ukraine, Australia, New Zealand and Asia again.
