U2? Rolling Stones? Não! Segundo a última edição americana da revista Rolling Stone, a Dave Matthews Band foi a banda/artista que obteve o maior lucro em bilheteria de shows na última década. De acordo com a lista, os shows da DMB na América do Norte lucraram US$ 529.1 milhões entre 2000 e 2009. O segundo lugar ficou com a cantora canadense Celine Dion, com lucro de US$ 522.1 milhões. Ainda no top 10, aparecem outros nomes de peso como Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, Eagles, Elton John, U2 e os Rolling Stones.

Vale lembrar que o ingresso da DMB é, na maioria das vezes, mais barato do que os valores cobrados pelos outros artistas citados, tornando a façanha ainda mais impressionante.
